DNA2.0 is also actively publishing new technologies and developing new applications for synthetic genes.
DNA2.0 is now seeking an inventive self-starter to lead in-house product development projects. DNA2.0’s product development group leverages our industry-leading gene synthesis and ProteinGPSļ¤ platforms for efficient optimization of biological systems. We use these platforms to efficiently optimize proteins and pathways for an array of new applications.
The candidate will have demonstrated broad skills in molecular biology, protein expression, protein purification, and assay development. The candidate will also have demonstrated success in managing protein or pathway engineering projects in industry or academic setting. Experience in conceptualizing and evaluating the merits and feasibilities of new projects from both scientific and business perspectives is valuable.
The position requires hands on laboratory work in the early stages of each project, and requires more managerial and coordinating efforts in the later stages as each projects matures.
Requirements:
Qualified candidates will posses a Ph.D. in Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology or related fields and have at a minimum of 1 postdoctoral year experience.
